Ever since 2016, we at P.L.A.Y. (Pet Lifestyle and You) have been proud bearers of the Certified B Corporation badge. But you might be wondering, what’s the big deal about this certification?
Well, a B Corp Certification is a commendable recognition by B Lab, signalling a company’s unwavering commitment to top-notch social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It’s more than just a label; it’s a testament to a business’s aspiration to utilize their operations for the greater good. In P.L.A.Y.’s context, we strive to positively influence people, pets, and our planet.

Collaboration with Clover Sonoma
Let’s start with a throwback to our very first collaboration with Clover Sonoma. Clover Sonoma, like us, is a Certified B Corporation that fervently supports regenerative farming practices, humane animal welfare (American Humane Certified), and local businesses. Their allegiance to ethical dairy production made them an ideal partner to create a playful, milk-themed plush toy.
The result was the Clover Sonoma x P.L.A.Y. Canine Carton Toy – a super cute representation of Clover Sonoma’s sustainability efforts and our shared commitment to high-quality, eco-friendly products.
Teaming up with Cabot Creamery
For more than a century, Cabot Creamery has been dedicated to crafting high-quality and ethically produced dairy products. This shared dedication made Cabot Creamery the perfect partner to create the world’s cutest and indeed, seriously adorable squeaker toy!
Our collaboration led to the creation of the Cabot Creamery x P.L.A.Y. Seriously Sharp Squeaker, inspired by Cabot’s iconic “Vermont Seriously Sharp Cheddar” block! This toy offers endless cheesy fun for your pup while aligning with our shared values. Plus, it’s filled with 100% post-consumer certified-safe recycled plastic bottles, making it the top pick for eco-conscious and playful pups!
Partnership with Earth Rated
Earth Rated, similar to P.L.A.Y., focuses on ethical solutions to essential pet products. They use 65%-certified post-consumer recycled products, produce plant-based wipes, and are dedicated to sustainable production. It’s no surprise we teamed up with them to turn their favorite treats from their hometown of Montreal into delightfully playful plush toys.
Having similar values to P.L.A.Y. and evolving together in the pet industry, we were thrilled to collaborate on multiple unique products. These toys range from plushies like the Montreal Beagel, Mon-treat-al Smoked Meat Sandwich, Pooch-tine and Barking Up The Maple Tree. In addition, Earth Rated provides their trademark eco-friendly bags for our Proper Pup Poop Bag Dispenser!
